BBC South West
A small group of employees at BBC South West wanted to discuss ways of unleashing creativity in the BBC.
We used a staff survey to gather ideas on the opportunities and challenges faced by staff in the West Country,
and planned a one-day event. Staff generated ideas and agreed to take action in several areas with the full
support of the management team.
“I was impressed that such a large number of topics were addressed in such a short time and in such an
energetic and passionate way… We now have a series of on going projects all initiated by the staff.
The conference helped me to really get a deeper understanding of some of the key issues facing BBC South West
